Okay, after listening to The Unforgiving more, I have come to appreciate the strong power metal feel of Iron...I think Within Temptation should definitely do some more power metal songs.

I've been listening to Within Temptation's new album The Unforgiving. It has quite a bit of pop rock songs, but a few more symphnoic metal/rock sounding songs. Within Temptation released the mv for Faster. I didn't like the mv itself too much until the I saw the short film that ties in with the song.

:D  Nightwish just finished recording all of their drum tracks. I can't wait for the new album! I wonder if Within Temptation has started recording yet; they better, especially since they've pushed back their album already. lol

Really tempted to buy the Black Symphony CD, mostly because a few of my favorite songs are on it and sound really, really great live. Especially The Promise. The way she sings it live is a million times better than on the studio album. Not to mention the LIVE orchestra and choir.
